- Coverage Up to $500,000 with just four broad health statements (same for spouse).
New Employee Coverage
- If you are new to your department, you can receive $100,000 in coverage with no medical questions asked, within 60 days of employment.
Spouse & Dependent Children Coverage
- Your spouse and dependent children can also be insured, with or without your coverage.
- $10,000 coverage for children for just $1.99 per month, regardless of the number of children.
Portable Coverage
- If you leave State employment, you can continue your coverage and enjoy lifelong protection.

💡 Eligibility: Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR) and Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Employees must work at least 30 hours per week to be eligible (temporary or OPS Employees are not eligible). Enroll during Open Enrollment or as a New Employee (within your first 60 days of employment).
