They are an easy-to-administer, voluntary benefit that addresses this issue by providing affordable, convenient legal counsel for everyday personal legal needs. MetLife Legal Plan legal services are generally offered as part of a flexible benefits menu from which the employee selects benefits most appropriate to his or her needs. Our voluntary benefit is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction, at a rate of $20.75 per month and $9.58 bi-weekly.
Once enrolled, employees have access to an attorney, as if on retainer, through MetLife Legal Plans nationwide network of attorneys. Employees may contact an attorney for representation for a wide range of legal services, including Court Appearances, Identity Theft, Financial Matters, Legal Document Preparation, Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Family Matters, and more. HOW TO ENROLL
Enroll during Open Enrollment or as a New Employee (within the first 60 days of employment). Please take a moment to review the Brochure for a full outline of the benefits available to you. Then, review the Enrollment Instructions and click “Enroll Now” to enroll online.
